The Securities & Exchange Commission proposed changes to lower whistleblower awards that reward employees for coming forward to report wrongdoing in their companies. CASI’s leadership filed a comment on the usefulness of whistleblower programs, the potential harm caused by the SEC’s changes, and offered a proposal to hold corporate executives financially responsible for malfeasance by making them pay whistleblower awards.
